More than 200 health care leaders across Victoria will meet today at the Victorian Advance Care Planning Seminar at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne. The one-day seminar will be attended by advance care planning leaders in palliative care, primary care, hospitals and aged care. Hosted by Advance Care Planning Australia (ACPA), the event is being delivered in partnership with key Victorian stakeholders; the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the Office of the Public Advocate. Speakers include prominent medical experts including leading intensive care specialist and author, Dr Charlie Corke, and oncologist and columnist, Dr Ranjana Srivistava.
