A toddler is among the 16 new people being tested for coronavirus in NSW as Australian authorities ramp up efforts to contain the infection. Chief health officer Kerry Chant says the cases under investigation include 10 males and six females aged between two and 66. "We are certainly ramping up testing to better understand and detect any cases that might be in NSW," Dr Chant told reporters in Sydney on Wednesday. Three of those had travelled to Wuhan in central China, which is the epicentre of the potentially lethal virus outbreak. The fourth person had visited another part of China and had close contact with someone who had been to Wuhan and was subsequently diagnosed with the virus.
