Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick. A man has been diagnosed with measles after visiting the Prince of Wales Hospital emergency department. The South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is urging people who may have been near the man to watch for measles symptoms. The man in his 40s, who believed he had been vaccinated as a child, attended the emergency department at the hospital in Randwick from 9pm on Saturday, September 7 to 3am on Sunday, September 8. The man likely caught the highly-contagious disease while travelling in Queenstown, New Zealand, one of the areas in New Zealand currently experiencing measles outbreaks.
