Australian health officials are closely monitoring developments in China, after 17 new cases of pneumonia caused by a new coronavirus strain were confirmed. The number of laboratory-confirmed cases of the virus has jumped to 65, with 62 in the central Chinese city of Wuhan. Three more cases have been confirmed in people who have travelled internationally from Wuhan: two in Thailand, and one in Japan.
