However, the peak is calling for more support to improve care provided in facilties while the aged care peaks say more telehealth and collboration will help address access barriers. The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners launched its General Practice: Health of the Nation report at Parliament House in Canberra today. Doctors provided over 5.5 million Medicare services in residential aged care facilities in 2018-19, the report shows.
