Picture: istock A dentist told me recently that probably 15 per cent of people clean their teeth only three times a week, once every two or three days. I’m no dental obsessive but I clean my teeth twice a day and sometimes more. I can’t imagine only brushing my teeth three times a week, or less. But apparently plenty do. Last year, a report by the Australian Health Policy Collaboration said only 51 per cent of Australians brush their teeth twice a day. That means almost half the people in Australia brush once a day or less. Is it any wonder that 90 per cent of Australians have some form of tooth decay?
