The clinical decision support software is being developed for Telstra Health’s residential aged care software suite through a $1 million partnership announced on Tuesday between RMIT University, Telstra Health and the Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre. The software will analyse clinical data of aged care residents for signs of deteriorating health to help providers plan and direct staffing and clinical resources more effectively and reduce unnecessary emergency hospitalisations.
