About The Pharmacy Guild of Australia

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia is the national organisation representing community pharmacies across the country. The Guild advocates for accessible, high-quality healthcare and supports the vital role of pharmacists in improving the health and wellbeing of Australians. The Guild also represents community pharmacies in the delivery of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, ensuring patients can access trusted advice and affordable medicines close to home.

Achieving Impact

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia proudly supports the Outstanding Community Pharmacist Award at the Patients Australia Awards Gala, celebrating pharmacists who go above and beyond to improve patient wellbeing. Supporting this award each year reinforces the value of community pharmacy and the vital role pharmacists play in delivering trusted, patient-centred care.

At the APP2025 Conference, our CEO Lisa Robins joined Guild National President Trent Twomey and other leaders to explore how patient perspectives and sector collaboration can strengthen the accessibility and quality of healthcare for all Australians.

Patients Australia and The Pharmacy Guild of Australia both prioritise strengthening access to care, supporting patient-centred practice, and highlighting the essential contribution of community pharmacy. This shared focus helps advance care that is accessible, supportive and grounded in the needs of local communities.
